This release begins with a blend of three straight bourbons, averaging 6.4 years and crafted from three distinct mash bills. The initial blend was then finished in freshly emptied Trillium Stout casks, allowing the whiskey to develop character and depth before being harvested at proof. This careful pairing of bourbon and stout cask highlights Trillium’s commitment to small batch experimentation and thoughtful barrel finishing.
