Wake Robin Tawny Port Finished Bourbon

Wake Robin Tawny Port Finished Bourbon is part of Trillium’s exploration of small batch blending and cask finishing, pairing carefully selected bourbons with distinctive barrels from around the world. This release begins with a blend of three straight bourbons aged 4 to 7 years, thoughtfully combined to create a balanced base spirit. The blend was then transferred into freshly dumped Tawny Port casks sourced from the Douro Valley of Portugal and rested for six months before harvesting. 

Aroma 
Rich dried fruits, buttery toffee, roasted nuts, warm earthy spices, black pepper, silky caramel, aged leather, and a hint of cinnamon.

Flavor 
Ripe cherry, deep brown sugar, fragrant cinnamon, creamy vanilla, clove, and decadent dark chocolate.

Finish 
Lingering black pepper, sweet caramel, and a smooth, medium tannin finish that invites another sip.
